first date
I took the woman (19 yo) I eventually married to this show. It was our first "date". The crowd reaction when the boys came out was deafening. Phil had the Garden rumbling during Shakedown. At intermission I wanted to show her around, so I took her all over the Garden and we wound up by the campers - rows of back packs and what-not. The twirlers had made their way their as well and my future wife wouldn't let go of my hand as we made our way through the crowd. It was cool seeing her experience the scene. The marriage didn't last but we brought 4 beautiful kids (and now 1 grandchild) into the world.

Locations
I find it hard to believe I'm the first to comment on this run. I transferred to Pratt that fall and was having the time of my life. We went in to the Village to get tickets at a forgotten record store.
We commuted to this show from Brooklyn via the subway, and let me tell you, the ride home was the wierdest, trippiest experience I had had up to that point... very surreal, Red Grooms Ruckus Manhattan sort of thing.
The show? It was phenomenal. Two new tunes, Throwin Stones (we called it Ashes Ashes at that point) and Touch of Grey. The Scarlet/Fire is searing and the close of the second set is just that classic line-up of tunes.. Gone are the days...
