If you can get to a copy of this show on tape and listen to the "looks like rain" there is a strange reverb sound that is on Bob's guitar in the middle of the song. I remember hearing it at the show and thinking to myself: "I can't wait to hear this on the tape"
This whole show I kept hearing the beatles........ some tunes on some songs.......and then revolution!! This whole show was tight and right on the money!!
first garden show.
all day we kept hearing about the St. Stephen we missed the night before. Even coming out of the tunnel in traffic they were hanging out their windows, "St. Stephen". But you guys are right. They smoked the second night. I dropped a birthday hit, along with my friends and we separated till we found some good seats together. One friend was still missing. I went to get him but a bouncer would'nt let me down the isle. I stood at the railing yelling his name. I kept yelling, "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry". In my state of mind, it took me a little while to realize why everybody was giving me the look.Anyway, maybe it was me but was that Cassidy a scorcher or what. We were sitting over Bills right shoulder. We applauded so loud, he stood up,turned around and gave a bow in our direction.

Location
I didn't think they could top the night before but they did. This show was just ripping and the Revolution encore was an incredible dollop of cream on top of a great two nights at the Garden.
