Great day. Waylon was awesome, and credited the Dead with opening him up to a whole new audience. Lots of great memories, but certainly Phil's quadraphonic bass solo was pretty unique! One of the most impressive China Doll's in memory.
What a fun day, sunny, in the park, with Waylon and NRPS the country/bluegrass vibe was in the air. You could tell the next day who had attended, the sunburned faces attested to looking into the setting afternoon sun behind the stage. Yes, it would be nice to have this released, there is so much good music from this day.
