yes, this show happened,i was there and it still ranks as the best show i've seen by anyone to date! better still i taped some of it untill my batteries died ---tho the tape quality is not great the music shines thru

Are you sure, Jim, you're not confusing it with one of the 72 Lyceum shows? Like Bob, I schlepped up to Newcastle, impatient for my first opportunity to see the Dead. I lived in London, and would certainly have heard they were on in London. What's more, I bumped into Garcia, Weir, Ramrod and some others in the street in Notting Hill Gate at that time, and they sure didn't know anything about a London gig that year either...

I am not sure this show happened, i was at the Hollywood sahow and i Lived in Brighton which is not far from London and i am sure i would have gone to the Lyceum if i had known that it existed
