But so much fun. I really had a lot of fun in Vegas baby.
Guess the last night was the best musically, and there was a gem or two embedded.
Race and Dew were good this night.
Cheers!

“The Omnipotent Grateful Dead!”
I went to like 30 shows and only caught one Dew. Jerry's guitar roared and I swear the Dew echoed in the desert for like an hour after the show. Maybe it was the liquid.
Not the greatest show, sure, but lots of fun, Very HOT, Jerry was in shorts (!) and I remember he looked good, actually bantered with the band for a sec, joking about the heat, lots of smiles and moving with the music. Dave Matthews Band blew my freakin' mind, but like Los55 said, maybe it was the liquid:)
These were a lot of fun. I remember in the set break somebody was like, "those people are getting married!'' Yea, right!!! Sure enough I look up to the left and in the bleachers there was an entire wedding party. Then the bride and groom strolled around the venue. I was crackin' up. I bet their together forever!!
nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
The dew was unreal, it was hotter then the dessert heat. Smokin song that I'll never forget. I think I may have deficated in my pants when they played the race is on. On my bus I use to have plates that read RAC IS ON... I loved it.
If i recall correctly, its been a long time, but this is the show they sprayed the crowd with fire hoses and we cheered for more.. jerry wasn't just in shorts, he was also barefoot, I thought that was super cool.
That china/rider was great and so was the last time, wow that blew me away. The second set may have been a tad slow, but the dew made up for it. ..I feel tears rollin up deep inside..I still cant believe I heard the race is on *LIVE*.
cshrocksthedead is looking for TODD STEELE or BRYAN HOOPER if you know them or know their whereabouts I sure would appreciate your help finding my lost friends... GOOD FRIENDS ARE HARD TO FIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ************************************************************************ csheil@live.com
My first DEW!!! It was beautiful. Peace Jerry. It took 33 shows to finally get one.
Comin from Philly and traveling around in a camper for six days out west three days of the dead. It was a trip of a lifetime. Thanks Bill
One way in, folks, 110 degree heat, we waited on the road for HOURS -- missed Dave, of course, and half the first set -- for what should have been a twenty or thirty minute drive from the Strip . People just started turning off their cars, locking the doors, and climbing out, and walking the last five miles! So many "family" girls and guys wearing bells and feathers in their hair dancing by on the road's shoulder having a BLAST! It was a party, all right, but frustrating, that we were MISSING the show. We finally parked, and still had to walk about a mile to get to the show, traversing moon scape type terrain in that heat. And once we got in, the sun was even more relentless in that pit with all those drunk people. Not the finest show either, but still has good memories!!!! Glad I was there.
