Took my wife to her very first Dead show here .... she was not a fan, never listened to the Dead before, & didn't get it when she had to hear it hanging around me ~~~> 30 minutes into the concert she was a convert.
~~~> Not a Deadicated Dead Head like me, but she did understand what it meant from then on out when someone said "There is NOTHING like a Grateful Dead concert."

This was the first show that I saw. I attended Averett College in Danville, Virginia at the time. I did not know all the songs but really enjoyed the scene. The sound quality really impressed me. Another strange thing was seeing people with boom-boxes and mikes, now this was new.
