Sorry.................THANK YOU DAN HEALEY not Glen.................I had a buddy named Glen Healey....may he rest in peace.
DAN HEALEY...........Not Glenn.......Thank you Dan Healey!!
Glen Healey was a friend of mine that passed a few yeras back.........RIP brother!
Great time. The security was a bit harsh though. They dumped my water jug with anger in their eyes. I remember that during half time, the entire Sgt Pepper's album was played. Great memories. Great tour. I miss you all!

This show (as all the chunks of summer tour I caught were) was a blast. I remember Hornsby with his big 'ol grin and the tractors supporting speakers the most. Good vibes all around at these '88 summer shows.
It was hot but the music was hotter.
I was really enjoying Bruce Hornsby, standing about 25 yards from the stage smelling some kind and loving life, when i felt the hand of an Ohio State Police officer on my shoulder. He took me up front between the stage and the wall in front of the stage a frisked me. He didn't find anything, but wanted to know what was in the bag I was smelling, and where "said" bag was located. I had fast reactions, and must have thrown it fast. The officer kept telling me I was going to jail.
The deadheads were yelling "Let him go, Let him go!"
I finally admitted to the officer that I had some kind, but going to jail could ruin the life of a "dumb college kid" that was probably the same age as his son. He told me he would be watching me, but I should " enjoy the Show".
Bruce Hornsby watched the whole thing while he was playing and shook his head at me. The Deadheads cheered when i was released. My buddy had my bag under his foot the whole time and suggested we watch the show furthur away, and enjoy the bag. THE SHOW WAS AWESOME!!
And a BIG thank you to the officer that gave me a BIG break that probably changed my life.
bruce on accordian was nice, but i think he overstayed his welcome because i saw jerry look at him as if to say,ok bruce thats enough, you can go backstage now..""" nothing left to do but,SMILE
104 degrees....no water....lots of dust....naked people....58 shows in my resume'...1 of only 2 that I wandered out before the show was technically finished. (the other was 7-2-86 Akron OH)...shame on me
