this was an amazing experience, 3 days camped out around the stadium, nice park right by it was flooded with heads, FURTHUR was there and kesey was in attendance, i met him on the bus, dont think i ever got off.
I think this was the only rainy Dead show off all the times at Autzen, which is saying something in Oregon! Appropriately, the band opened with a damned respectable and enjoyable "Rain" in the second set. Seemed like pretty standard, decently played show, not a lot of fireworks. Wonderful to hear Attics of My Life, though!
I really enjoyed this show....rolled into town just in time.....I loved Autzen Stadium....nice first set and the second set was great. I agree that Attics was awesome to hear. The parking lot was lively and the FURTHUR bus was so cool! I got some really good pics with me at the wheel and my friends sitting in the doorway steps. Priceless
One of my top 10 shows.I loved Autzen each time I went. Overall fantastic experience even with all the rain. I was with a great friend and everything just fell into place after our extremely long drive. Nothing but smiles and laughter and the show was refreshing and spontaneous it seemed. Loved it.
A rare Friday show in Eugene and I was not able to get off work to attend but was on the road and made the next two shows. I remember hearing about the slow-speed O.J. Simpson car chase on the radio as I approached Eugene. Odd memory...
"The Grateful Dead -- For those who were there no explanation is necessary, for those who were not, none is possible"
Remember when they played looks like rain, it started raining wow they were tuned in to the weather even . great shows ,
good camping too in the parking lot , but man the nitrous tanks hissing all night, no wonder we didn't sleep much,
My future wife's first shows. What a sport. "No really, it's OK, let's stay HERE and dance! The Rain WILL stop!" Three days two nights in the lot. Kesey and crew with the bus. Memorable. I wanted to get my gal a shirt that said I'll try anything twice! Good to be back in Eugene. What a joy to see fellow travelers in all the rest stops coming down from WA.
I have loved Eugene ever since I visited this show. I have some pretty CRAZY memories from that show! I got a miracle TWIce for two of theese shows. ahhh the good ol days!I remember camping out on the FURTHER bus here!
