beautiful show with lots of great improvisation througout
I must have been sitting right by you. Did you see the kid beat the hell out of that security guy out on the field.
closest I ever got to a dark star - furthest away from the stage as possible but good times
A terrific show all around made more special with that "Eyes of the World" opener. Never would they open with the tune, so what a special moment in GD history.
for me, nothing was the same after the 17th
I went to this show and the night before on the spur of the moment. A friend of mine asked me to go and I traded shifts with a co-worker. Well the night I took the shift our job (a liquor store) was stuck up just after closing. The manager identified the stick up crew and while I was away at the show - the night before the arraignment - somebody came by the job at closing and shot my manager in the face with my friend working my shift only a few feet away....if I wasn't seeing the show, I would have been sitting in the car with my manager catching a ride...I'd probably be dead. The Grateful Dead saved my life.
...and they opened with my all-time favorite Dead tune, "Eyes". 'Nuff said.
really enjoyed this show from the 4th row with the line-up fully in place and geling
Location
Great Show. I was up in the last row of the top of the stadium looking out at NYC and going crazy with some Dirvishes.
