Location
"White Rabbit!" "Aw Reet, it's the stuff that can't be beat". First trip to the Bay Area to visit my sister. Then up to Oregon to visit my brother and his wife who were living in a tipi. Made up my mind then and there to leave the east as soon as I graduated from high school the following June. "Sometimes A Great Notion" was released to the big screen in the fall of 71.Last night I listened to 8/15/71 driving across eastern agency Navajo Rez to get back to work this morning. Was at Zia Pueblo feast day yesterday. The recording of that concert is a testament to the free spirit of those times. The Other One jam into "Uncle" into jam was so great. Then Love-light.Very fond memories indeed. Who was that kid who yelled White Rabbit and then Aw reet? "Never give a inch"Henry Stamper
