Week of March 26, 1990
This week's program, originally broadcast in the spring of 1990, begins with a warning to fans and others from Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh. The parking lot scene and other activities around the Grateful Dead tour had become a problem for local authorities and therefore for the band and the vast majority of well-behaved fans.

...(counted it twice, so it must be right!).
I have been following this tour through all 22 shows and writing
them down in a notebook each day. The four CDs from today's
show (May 26) bring the total as presented to 73, not 72, CDs.
It's all good, anyway!
Wait, I come up with 73 discs! Cancel the whole thing!
for doing this ... it's been fun following the breakouts of how the Cd's will unfold and just looking at Europe and where they played.
What have you next up the sleeve?

This was one of the most memorable nights of my life.... having seen the show on the 23rd I was tortured for two nights and then bunked off from boarding school for the show on the final night because I couldn't stand missing it, didn't have a ticket but got one at the last minute on the door from a tout for the cover price and was in heaven for the next six hours.
I still can't believe that I had the nerve to do this, but it was one of the great initiations of my life, realising that if you really care about something and really want to do it you can make it happen. Amazingly this was also the first show I ever got back in the old tape trading days, made 'those memories, come alive'.... legendary.
Sweet, sweet, sweet!
Help please. I have been away and missed some of the songs on Facebook. Does anyone know if you can get back to those? I can only find the current day one.
It seems that the Facebook songs have been replaced one at a time when it is updated, sorry to be the bearer of bad news:-(
Just listening to the last night Dew again, ahh, memories.....
Thanks for taking the time to let me know. Shame I missed those, but the rest has been great. Particularly enjoyed the Newcastle one's, which I was at.
I have all the songs from the Facebook app. I didn't take the time to grab the file links, which used randomized file names. If there is one in particular you want let me know, I probably could get it to you somehow. A few of the songs were from Europe '72 album.
