If I've picked up Hal R's thread correctly the answer is to set the recording option to 'Disc At Once' rather than 'Track At Once'.
These options could be in a range of locations depending on programme, could be a radio button or text requiring double click.

It is all on one DVD. If someone else wants to split it into CDs that would be great. But I haven't mastered how to do that without the breaks between songs. Will figure that one out soon, but not this week.
