Common or not, 11/7/87 deserves the full loving treatment of a CD release. And, if what I heard about what happened after that show was true, a good title might be, "Play it again, Dan." :)

Except for the unlawful carnage that took place, Deer Creek 1995 was a smokin' hot show, especially the second set...

It seems there's been a CD released of just about all the old albums, but I haven't come across "Keith & Donna" from 1975. How about putting this gem out there for us... I have the record, but it sure would be nice to listen to a cleaner version. Thanks.

gd vault don't feel so bad, ya aint got half of what you thought you had...... rusty reel don't play no more, not so much as it done before.
retailing at 150,000 the true completists collection featuring every piece of tape recorded during the history of the grateful dead. available in 10,000 compact discs, or 30,000 cassettes. hope you are young enough to listen to it all in this lifetime. seriously, though, i'vebeen listening to the dead for ov er a decade , but didn't really get it until about a year ago, the magic and power contained in the nusic. i was so stuck in 68-72, that i dismissed later eras like mainly post hiatus. what a fool i was , and my little purchase of dp vol 3 has opened me up to 77, which is like hoffman discovering lsd. i just got dp 29 few weeks ago and am enjoying those shows. problem is, i am relying on official release stuff, and haven't even seen a traded tape up close before. gotta hurry on back to livingroom, where i got me a date with oklahoma 73

Alright, I've had this idea bounce through my head a time or two... i know, i know, a whole lotta people don't give a crap about Post-Brent but...
4 show box set of the Halloween run in 1991.
That first night was essentially a wake for Bill Graham and included Carlos and Gary Duncan and the first playing of Mono since i forget when and (without checking out the setlist...) wasn't there another nugget of extra-special joy in there? Plus you almost can't beat a Sugar Mags to open a show! Jerry played his heart out for Bill... i felt like Jer was playing for no one in the crowd, only for Bill alone... it was quite moving. And if this ever comes to be, if I remember correctly there was an inbetween set, short speech, by Graham's son, i think, and if that was recorded it should be included, as well.
Couple more shows thrown in for the heck of it and then comes the wham bam trick or treat Ken Kesey Halloween night Ahhhhhh-ooooooooooo Werewolves of London!
Wrap the whole baby up with a Halloween theme and include an ode to Graham and an ode to Kesey, and folks will be glad to have some officially released 91 shows, i'll guarantee it!
And for God's sake, don't make it a compilation... include every note!
(Does 11-3-91 fit on one disc? If so -- hey, throw that in, too!)
