Tried to post a couple of times yday but the posts wouldn't stick. The second set of 4/23 is the REAL DEAL, with one of the best post-retirement Other Ones I have experienced. Absolutely mammoth, and worth the cost of postage and blanks by itself! The Scarlet > Fire to open the set is hot as well, and, unlike so often, the momentum build up during the Other One is maintained for the completion of the set. The boys are definitely spent by the time of the encores, but that's certainly ok with me after such a GREAT set.

Like I posted I was surprised some of these shows had not been vined before this. Like dstache said I stayed away from 1983 for awhile. But after adawgwyo posted his love me some 83 vine (some shows from fall tour) I decided to give spring and summer a listen and was pleasantly surprised.
It's amazing there's so many opinions about various years/tours but I've learned to be open minded and judge after I have listened instead of after reading others reviews.
I'm through 4/20 and I have to highly recommend this vine. I think people will be pleasantly surprised by these shows in a purported "down" year. I don't have all my grades in front of me, but I think the following provides a good representation of my thoughts:
4/17 = Good+ set 1, VG set 2;
4/19 = VG set 1, Good+ set 2;
4/20 = Great set 1 (sure, Jerry butchers the lyrics in the opening Touch, as he does for all the early versions of this tune), VG set 2
