How about rereleasing the Fillmore box? It's a shame that one of the most important runs ever was put out in a limited run. What were they thinking?

I 100% agree with Tom Thumb's post from May 12, 2008. The 80's Greek shows would make a lovely box set!

But how about a release assembling all the best versions of songs that were added to the repertoire after the release of "Built To Last"? A collection of the last batch of Grateful Dead songs, including "Lazy River Road", "So Many Roads", "Liberty", "Days Between", "Way To Go Home", "Gentlemen Start Your Engines", "Eternity", "Believe It Or Not", and I think there were a couple of Phil songs added in 1994 whose names I don't recall. Almost all of these songs were included in the "So Many Roads" box set, but it would be great to have them released as a sort of final Grateful Dead album, the one that never happened...

How about a down-through-the years collection of songs that were only played once or
only a very few times? I think that would sound very fresh and new.
May I suggest for inclusion the "Louie Louie" from Irvine Meadows on Friday, 4/22/88- I burst out laughing when I recognized the riff, and since I was working at an R & B Oldies radio station at the time which played the original Richard Berry version instead of the more famous Kingsmen version, I was one of the few people there who could actually sing along using the real words ! I have very fond memories of all those Irvine shows...
