Grateful Dead
Classic instance of the threading problem occurs here:
http://www.dead.net/forum/welcome
in which two of my comments following jergirl's appear before her comment.
And while we're reporting technical problems, we're still getting isolated occurrences of the weird threading issue we saw during the beta test, in which comments (not replies) mysteriously appear before the comment theyr'e commenting on, as it were. The Introductions topic where my suggestion that kaisersoda tell us about his dog mysteriously precedes kaisersoda's initial introduction, to which it was responding. And I've seen a couple other instances since.

I've been looking at member bios and several of them have urls but in some cases instead of taking me to the website I end up at a page on dead.net with the message "Access denied."
Yes, that is the increasingly notorious Breadcrumb Problem, upon which a crew has been put. The pesky navigation links, that is.
Let's just say there are many navigational improvements on the wish list, so feel free to mention yours.
the navigation at the bottom of the members page(s) is pretty weird. some pages will let me click on them, some don't... next> doesn't seem to work for me either there.
also, i would hope that those pages will be, um, alphabetized maybe someday? the randomness is going to be really useless soon. already kind of is with 12 pages.
did all of the content from the old dead.net site vanish???
Heh heh, ya I didn't quite make it out for that show. Eventually that that can be removed, or the name for my account can be changed
Oh, and as to the number of replies, the original post seems to be counted as a reply. Which strikes me as odd too, but that's how it seems to work.
Apparently Jonathan (who works here) started those topics and his name is forevermore attached whether he attended or not. This is the best I can figure out; I've noticed this too. When he gets a spare moment he might come along and correct my ignorance.
