Grateful Dead
Having caught just two shows from the spring tour (Philly), I'm so grateful for the chance to see the boys one more time before they scatter to their "solo" bands for a while. I'm bringing my brother-in-law (his 50th b-day present), who's new to the bus (his only other show was accompanying me to the Phil-less Garcia tribute at Berkeley in '05), and it's always a joy to bring someone new to the scene and watch as the magic inevitably sweeps over them. Mr. Zimmerman headlining on Sunday night is a helluva bonus, too! Also looking forward to the four-hour ferry ride across Lake MI (I'm convinced I was a sailor in a previous life ;-). Planning to arrive Friday night...see ya there!
missed last year real excited for this year then the weekend afterward the ALL GOOD
We will be there too! For those of you who have never been to Rothbury...you're in for a real treat of a festival. This is the best festival we have ever been to and I'm sure the Rothbury people are busy at work making it even more the RAGE for is this year!!
Although....we've already got our dream-team stellar line-up....what could be better than The Dead at ROTHBURY?!!!!!
Can't wait to meet you all and have the time of our lives with The Dead :):):)
Peace, love and hugs xo G.G.
Let the countdown begin !!!!
For all who couldn't get enough of Spring Tour and for all who couldn't make it, this is the one! Outdoor shows make up in atmosphere what they lack in sound quality - I always cherish the blending of the music with the sounds of the night anyway... Can't wait to camp with all you lovely people. Lots of great music - too much to choose from. Let's jam!
i'll be there of course! i'll be the one lost in the forest...hahaha
