Happy Birthday Jerry-
You changed the course and purpose of my life , through the places your guitar tool me to, and the raw emotion of your imperfect but yet heartfelt vocals. I will always remember the way you would take all my troubles away, re-energize me, and send me back out to the mean old world outside the tour.
Peace and love to all my fellow Deadheads

I do miss Jerry a lot ... and also The Grateful Dead as a band ... the band that still should have been around today ... playing the music ... bringing joy to the world ...
It's a sad feeling Jerry is no longer among the living ... but on the other hand he lives on through the music ... for that I'm eternal Grateful ... :-)

I was starting to write a reply in speculation of info about these videos and thought, let me google what I know and see what I find! JACKPOT!
Indeed they are both from the same event as Jerry is looking identical in both videos.
Here is the full scoop below! Looks like something I will for sure purchase on DVD! It seems this video is out there everywhere as it is a new release so, buy it from where you wish to give your money. I was going to include the Amazon link, but there are other places to purchase it from too.
Simply Google: Caliente y Picante: A Latino Session
and you will find it at many online retailers.
Sweet!

when was this? I love Ruben Blades too...
Hey Everyone!
Just thought I would share this video clip I found on YouTube. I have looked here before and this seems like a new one.
You have to wait it out a bit as they do not let the Jer man in for some play time until towards the end of the song, but it is so great to see him totally boppin and groovin with this hot latino band!
Jerry's latino roots are surely shining through in this clip!

Words can't even begin to describe how much I miss you. Seeing the Grateful Dead for the first time back in '89 was something that has forever changed so many aspects of my life for the better, and I will always be eternally grateful. What a long, strange trip it is indeed.
Thank you Jerry for a REAL good time!
Peace
