and now for something completely different..... a naked person playing the piano, oh wait that the religion forum
does anyone think that he faked this injury to go with the band on this historic show? If so, who could blame him? the dude, could play b-ball anytime, but see the dead at the pyramids? please, i think portland could wait the dead couldn't.
i've been gettin' down on everybody for bickering back and forth and insulting each other instead of having meaningful discourse, but what are you trying to say doubledrumz? of course it's our place to disagree...that's the beauty of it , we all have different views and are allowed to express them taking respect into consideration of course, and yes both sides HAVE been hassling each other...read back for a few weeks........it's called a forum for a reason. thank you for your time.
I see a bunch of comments downing the Dead for supporting Obama. Hey, let's remember that everyone in America has a choice who and what they believe in and support. It is not anyone else's place to disagree with the other persons choice. Your freedom is you get to make your own choices too! Freedom is "if you want your choice to be respected then you have to let others choose freely and respect them for it, even if you don't agree.
The Dead can do what they want and you can do what you want, but don't go on their site and hassle them, they are not hassling you. If they want to support Obama then let it be.
Two kind deadheads are in town and going to the show tomorrow. Anyone going to Otto's to party? If not there, then where?
We have 2 extra tickets available. Email ADandKC4Ever@aol.com to hook up.
So many other roads...to ease our souls..
Our favorite Band could have found with out a doubt many
other causes for a benefit show.
There are so MANY good ways to help People, organizations, and
institutions who can better use the funds needed for humanity's sake.
(Nature preservation, animal rights, the homeless ,
the poor, human rights,
hurricane relief,Education, Breast Cancer, all types of Cancer,
Organ Donation education, hunger,...too many more to mention)
How many can you all think of?
Politics isn't a good cause in my opinion.
Dark Star Orchestra is doing the right thing, by humbly
not leaning to the LEFT or the RIGHT sides of politics.
I hope this will be a good lesson to be learned.
just encourage folks to register and vote.

The BJC where Monday's concert is released this statement at 8:30 this a.m.:
(University Park, PA – Sunday, October 12, 2008) – Here is some updated information regarding the Change Rocks concert at the Bryce Jordan Center for Monday, October 13. Due to unforeseen circumstances, patrons attending the Change Rocks concert at the Bryce Jordan Center will not be able to park a day earlier. Parking will be available by midday on Monday, October 13. Please note that sleeping overnight in your car is not permitted and information on local camping is available at http://www.bellefontekoa.com/
BULL! The lots around the BJC are used for football parking and are currently empty, dry, were used two weeks ago for football, and will be used this Saturday for football as well. This concert is in a "red" state at a venue where monster trucks and country music sell out - is it any wonder they've changed their minds on the same day that people are already coming in to town? In this economy, people haven't planned on the added expense of the KOA or a hotel - and they're turning these Obama supporters away from the parking lots?! That is unfair...and I doubt it would happen if it was a McCain event. I think people need to fight this!
If only they would focus as much energy on product quality control and customer service as they do on politics. Seems like the real focus has been lost to the sands of time. Why don't they endorse a religion while they are at it? I hear the Pope is looking for contributions also....
