Ordered my tickets for Philly on Friday and they came in the mail today! Didn't expect them for two or three months! I ordered through the Mann Center web site. Down side was the fees were really high! Oh well, seems that tickets are a pain in the ass one way or the other. Its good to have the tickets in hand! Can't wait for the show!
Thought I was most likely to see the boys at Allgood, but that didn't work out. Bought my tickets today for July 11. Looking forward to it! I've never seen a show in Philly so this is a new adventure. Hope to see some of you there. Let me know if you're going!
Amazing set list - yes. But the fact that John only sang lead on one song - Lazy River Road was disappointing to say the least especially for how long the drive was to get there. Plus as some folks mentioned who were sitting near me - it was too chaotic with 5 people playing guitar. I don't know, I was happy to be there to celebrate my 40th bday with Phil's 70th and all but I wasn't expecting to be surprised in that way. In my opinion the Furthur magic just wasn't there as it was for the other 5 Furthur shows I had been to prior to March 12.

Memorial Day Weekend festival goers....I'm pretty sure the announcement of who's playing, tickets, camping is going to be tomorrow on Furhturmore Friday on the Furthur Website. Hope to see you all there. I'm making the trek out for this one.

Cool. We definitely want to stay not too far from the venue and still be able to see the sights like Independence Hall and such. As a middle school history teacher, my students and I always benefit from tours - I learn about the good ol' Grateful Dead and they get to learn about the good ol' United States.
Mr Goat, I'm obviously no expert on where to stay in Philly as per my previous post. However, we're considering staying at the Holiday Inn Express Center City. Room was $128 on Expedia plus $21 for parking. It appears to be very near many historical sites and very near a stop to catch a bus to Mann Center. Not sure how that compares to the Hilton. Enjoy the show!
Hey CA - look who gets the 3-day Furthur Fest... should be some satisfied West-Coasters after all. Happy Mountain Aire!
If you haven't checked out the playlist and info from Phils' 70th birthday show, do so soon. Amazing.
