I finally got this tonight, and it was worth the wait, as I expected. I've had a partial audience tape of 6/18/77 since shortly after the show, and I've always had a special feeling over all the "firsts" I got to hear at that March Winterland run, my first extended experience with the Grateful Dead after three single shows over previous years. I felt privileged to have witnessed and heard the only live At a Siding, and re-recorded my tape many times for friends. I've also listened to it on archive.org, but the sound on this was the best I've ever heard. When the recent June Winterland box set came out, I gobbled it up right away, but I always hoped that when the comprehensive Winterland 1977 experience was released it would be the March 18,19 and 20 performances. I was living in New Orleans and saw eight shows that year, including the March and New Year's runs at Winterland, May in Tuscaloosa and Bobby's birthday in Baton Rouge. No wonder I'm biased that 1977 was their best year -- arguably (I try to be flexible). Keep it coming. Thanks.

This is a nug , totally . Jerry and Bob Hunter letting us know how or what inspired them to wite and compose the Terapin suites . This show is definitely hands down , a golden brodacast of the much enjoyed Dead H . Hope your health is picking up generally D . Take care

Looks great. I was at that Winterland run. Like I said, looks great, but it won't play. Anxiously awaiting for my computer to cooperate on this one.
