Yes Stash! She is growing up very near-that is in Lampertheim, which is the next village from here, relatively close to Mannheim.

That's why I was recognising the Rhine: my wife was born in Mannheim, her grandparents and relatives live in Brühl and Speyer. We go there at least once a year (with the car fully packed with Pfälzer Wein on the way back to Hamburg). Lampertheim is pretty close!
this will be a wonderful memory for lifetimes to come, just a beautiful moment. It is a good model pose & she's a real cutie too T.L.! I do my best to capture in pictures my 8 yo granddaughter in those totally open, loving moments we share together.
