we had a gathering of friends - from online places
Pat Marren ( behind me, next to Joe) passed away, suddenly last Saturday
we all enjoyed meeting him, he had so much fun at the shows, and we had a fun trip, up to his dads too !

(that's 4.18.78 and 3.13.81 - if you add up all the numbers, you get 197. I couldn't think of a catchy name for this vine, so i turned to math. maybe Marye will come up with a better one. This is in response to a request from Pomo1, which I'm happy to oblige.

This was a very sad time... these shows were right after Bill Graham was killed in the chopper crash... I almost didn't go, but I'm real glad I did, being with the family was very therapeutic... the night of the 31st with Ken Kesey's recitation of the e e cummings poem during the Dark Star was absolutely incredible... If you don't have the tapes of this run, you should try to get 'em...

Observant souls will note that the Terms of Service content at the bottom of the page has been replaced by a great deal of legalese. I'd encourage you to read said legalese, as it states that you agree to be bound by it by continuing to use the system, but in general I don't think it says anything unusual for sites run by large media companies, or anything to be unduly alarmed about.
